Michael Ealy is always easy on the eyes he is the reason I selected the movie in the first place. The theme of the movie was great good story for family and teens. Tears and laughs with a surprise ending.
Without a doubt this is my favorite Christian movie & I think even a secular person could find this film to be a good one. Ultimately this is a film about hope, something hard to find these days in most of what Hollywood puts out or in pop culture ("I can't feel my face when I'm with you but I like it."). This film is also inspiring & gets to the heart of what so many of us long for, love of family, community of choice, kids, sacredness of friendship, and yes, God.
Two friends find each other after each has had significant struggles. There is also a mystery in the plot as well as lovely cinematography which considering the films budget, is impressive. This movie doesn't smack you upside the head with a moral message but instead lets the characters unfold the redemption that awaits. I cried tears of sadness & tears of joy. And there are some great songs in the film too. I now own a copy of this movie because it's that good. I've rented 393 items from the library & this is the 1st one I've ever had to own.
The story was told from the perspective of the white woman whose life fell apart upon the death of her husband. I would have rather the protagonist had been her friend from start to end, with him in the lead with her information as part of his backstory.
An inspiration movie everyone should see. Unconditional love should be a gift all children experience. Check out unconditionalthemovie.com/act to see how you can contribute. Love Michel Ealy in this film.
Surprisingly good inspirational true life crime drama/religious message movie. The movie takes a few unexpected turns and the story just plays out well. Sad and happy inspiring events. Great message. It does sway a bit into Christian religious mode toward the end, but it doesn't ruin the film.
Wonderful movie with a great storyline. Probably will be buying it in the future.
A very good movie and based on a true story. I have seen a few Christian movies and have never been disappointed.
I really enjoyed this movie. Based on true events and it is heartfelt, hopeful and inspiring. I do agree that the Christian component to the movie is not preachy, but it is there and it is clear that faith plays a role in the lives of many of the characters.
I thought this movie moving, gracious, inspiring, thought provoking, healing and full of simple gestures that brought larger meanings. And the fact that it was based on a true story makes it more deeply received into the heart.
Those who want to be moved, but are questioning whether they would enjoy a "spiritual" movie, this is never preachy or over-the-top. Sometimes these movies feel disingenuous but this one feels real - like it was lived and breathed. This movie is "no try. do."
I saw the movie and I had liked it
this is based on a true story but not
for children to watch
A beautiful story based on true events.
Didn't expect a movie inspired by a true story could be so unpredictable and exciting! A movie that is produced to move audience's hearts and remind us of simple things that we might've forgotten.
It's good to watch a movie that moves you and doesn't have you crossing moral lines in order to enjoy it. Thumbs up from me.
Amazing movie! Acting was great and storyline was unpredictable. One of my faves!
Very surprising ending. Demonstrates how biased people can be when they don't have enough information, but also reminds us of the power of unconditional love. excellent.
Very moving and unexpected story line, even towards the end. I shed so many tears at the end. Was so glad this is base on a true story. Very inspiring indeed.
Great movie! A very well written stoy line and acting! Really, stirs the heart!
awesome movie....well acted, well written, and thoroughly interesting....unexpected ending....shed a few tears watching this one.
Best movie I have seen in long time.
Great family movie with children aged 8 and up (just a little bit of violence - someone getting shot).
Based on a true story.
