the commenter below (kygav...) is remarking upon what may be one of the first truly secret agent-type books of fiction ever written, as well as a most excellent future fiction work (given that it was first published in 1951); it was also an award-winning episode on the first Outer Limits show.

Pubescent male idea of a romance packaged in a decent premise - similar to Invasion of the Body Snatchers - but lacks development of characters and technology concepts although all of the hooks are in there.
