A funny, charming main character and a believable story make this a good pick-up summer read for people looking for something different.

For the ppl who don't get it, I think it's cause of the fact that you either didn't read The Secret Life Of Owen Skye, and After Sylvia, or you didn't understand the plot.

I think that Dear Sylvia was an outstanding book.I think that it is kinda weird that he is writting letters to Sylvia, but not sending them to her.It is funny how Owen will write something and then seal it and then be like oh i frogot something and would write a whole new letter.

I didn't really get this book being all letters to Sylvia. But it was kind of funny because the boy writing them misspelled some of the words.
