An immaginative, gripping & fast paced read. It's a mystery that encompasses art, police chases, archeology, history, past lives & Beethoven. At it's centre is reincarnation. There are believers & non-believers, all of whom would do just about anything to get their hands on a flute that may have been hidden (or destroyed?) by Beethoven. Set mostly in Vienna, there are plenty of good guys & bad guys to hold your attention & not always clear which is which.

About half way through and this was exactly the kind of book I needed to get me back into reading again. Hooks you in 3 chapters and keeps its' grip tight on you!
