How did the son of Irish immigrants outrow blueblood scullers from Oxford and Cambridge to become one of the most famous athletes of his time? Award-winning author Wendy A. Lewis recounts the compelling story of the "Boy in Blue," from his childhood on the Toronto Islands, where he rowed himself to school on the mainland every day, to laurels won around the world.

This book was pretty good. You know that saying, you can't judge a book by it's cover? Well actually, I usually can, but for this book my prediction was WAAAAY off. By looking at this cover, I thought, "Ooh, this book isn't going to be as good as the other ones." But it was really, really good, coming second only to my favourite non-fiction, Royal Murders. Good job, Wendy(:

This book was short, and to the point. It was written like a fiction book and I found that I enjoyed it that way. It was also a great size and didn's take that much room.

I think the topic of this book could have been better. When I looked at the cover I thought the book was about natural disasters. Anyway it could have told a little bit more about Ned`s life.
