1968: in that single year, MLK and RFK were assassinated, Chicago rioted, Nixon triumphed, and Tet exploded. The top music acts were the Beatles, the Doors, Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye. Man circled the Moon. From Civil Rights to Vietnam, from rock & roll to rocket science, 1968 stands out as a concentrated dose of everything we think of as the Sixties.

Great history lesson! In 1968 I was 18 yrs old and living this history, however, when someone helps you take a step back and put all the events in perspective it is eye opening. Young or old this documentary is fascinating.

This is one of the few I have seen that actually shows 2 sides of the anti-war protests and the "counterculture" movement of '60's. Still, it concentrated too much time on "drugs, drugs, drugs" at least Springsteen was interviewed saying he was not using drugs. Loved and laughed at Arlo Guthrie's thoughts on war reasoning.
