Finding the farmhouse is no picnic for this pack of panicky poultry! The four big chickens are all cooped up when their dream is to see the farmhouse--so they set out in search of it. But what makes something a farmhouse anyway? A roof? Not, that's a doghouse! A chimney? No, that's a tractor! It's nothing but mixed-up mayhem when hapless hens with the right idea go looking for the farmhouse in all the wrong places. Sidesplitting silliness abounds as those crazy chickens return with another flapping-fluffing-squawking-flocking farmyard adventure. Henry Cole's boisterous art captures the spirit of this riotously funny new read-aloud and follow-up to the smash hit Big Chickens.

The chickens are sure they want to see the farmhouse. They get in trouble every time they leave their coop but they still leave anyways! Like they find the dog house and the horse barn and the tractor but never the farmhouse! Finally they see the farmhouse and realize its right beside the chicken coop! Silly chickens!
