I love all of this author’s book series and emailed the provided email to tell him so. I got a very nice reply from them and I hope he puts out more. They give you a true feeling of being in this part of Scotland, I felt part of this local area and got quite attached to these characters.

Great book! Highly enjoying this series. I'm most interested in the character Bertie and his neurotic mother Irene. The rest of the characters are just as interesting and complex.

After reading the series, you feel connected to these characters and their interesting stories and opinions - I wish I had my own Big Lou's coffeeshop!

Enjoyable continuation of the interwoven stories of a unique set of characters in Edinburgh. witty, lightly satirical and very well written. A delight

Charming accounts of the residents of and around 44 Scotland Street, with gentle barbs aimed at modern trends.
