This book is definitely not for beginners. The diagrams are extremely small and the materials are very specific and limited to what the artist had in her stash or was able to acquire in Japan. However, more advanced sewists may be able to recreate her patterns and all levels may get inspiration.

Not for the beginner sewist, but a good resource for inspiration and construction.
