Third in the Danvers family series, this book's hero isTemple (the Marquis of Templeton) the cousin of Robert and Colin Danvers from the first two novels. Temple and Lady Diana Fordham, the former betrothed of Colin Danvers, have a love story 13 years in the making and it takes a race to Scotland to protect Diana from would-be suitors to force Temple to declare his heart.
