It has some interesting points, but seems very thin on scientific backing. It is also quite repetitive. I read/skimmed it in about 1 hour and got the point and I'm not a particularly fast reader.

The subject in general is tricky, though. I have seen websites that claim some foods are non-acidic whereas this book claims the opposite, and vice versa. I don't know how they test foods to know what their effect on blood pH is.

The book reads a bit like a self-help book like "The Secret", with testimonials scattered throughout. That is enough to make me skeptical.

Still, it provides some information that makes sense -- an underlying theory behind foods that "feel" harsh on the body based on how I feel after eating them. So, it's worth listening to from that point of view.
