Great modern fable.
Definitely not for kids!

excellent adventure!

Not actually a graphic novel, but a very good story set in Willingham's Fables universe. This book can be read as a standalone, but it references some events in the comics in such a way that they enhance each other without either being mandatory for understanding of the other. Some B&W illustrations, and a sequential-art epilogue.
