I like Rob Lowe, mostly because WOW, he's a babe!! (and he gets better with age!)....I found his story interesting as I know all of the people that he mentioned throughout the book (from the movies). As well, I have seen many of the movies he starred in...I especially liked his love story with Sheryl and his love for his mom.

Typical "Hollywood Bio" but did have some interesting bits. He's not a bad writer, no ghost writer mentioned. If you're "of an age" (as I am) you will find this interesting.

Back in the spring when I was watching almost every episode of Oprah's last season, I was glued to my television set during the Rob Lowe interview. As a former heart throb, the object of perhaps the first major sex scandal I can recall, and as Sam Seaborn in The West Wing, I have enjoyed Lowe although he isn't top of mind for me. He just came across as being so charismatic that day on Oprah. Even a bit too slick. Anyway, my interest was piqued and I ordered his biography from the library. It finally came in and it was just OK. It wasn't too smooth to read, and I felt he was doing a lot of name dropping. But it was entertaining and I can't wait to see The Outsiders again.
