Three plots, but the book dragged on. With the exception of the "magical" ring the book just seemed like the same old, same old. And the concept of the ring was just silly in what is supposed to be a FBI thriller.

A ring that regresses time? Com'On! Is everybody going supernatural(Coulter, Johansen,etc.)??. A good read without "the ring".

The best word that comes to mind is bland. Characters are all good or all bad, unlike most of us. The upshot is I didn't really connect with any of them or find them interesting enough to keep me glued to the pages. A so-so read.
