Violence: Almost zero violence, just a teensy-weensy itsy-bitsy bit. Don't worry about it. The book is awesome if you're looking for heart-pounding action, and so are the series. :)

Add a CommentIn Brotherband (Companion to Rangers Apprentice) #7 The Caldera at the end there is a short story about Madelyn or Maddie helping two people in her time as a Rangers Apprentice. It is after The Royal Ranger.
Hmmmm… Not as great as the rest of Ranger's Apprentice series.
Interesting to learn about Halt's past, Morgarath, the Roamers, Ranger horses breeding, and Gilan ❤️ Jenny.
And yes, you should read this book before The Royal Ranger.
For Ranger fans out there, this book is a good installment in the series. Some of the stories were great and some were terrible. If you do not like spoilers do not read this. Tug is replaced by another horse, and his name is changed to Bellerophon.
yes you have to read this before royal ranger
