Five-year-old identical twins narrate this tale about the special blanket they have shared since birth but now outgrown. When their mother offers to sew each sister a new blanket out of the old one, their choice of fabric reflects their individual personality. A beautiful depiction of sibling rivalry and affection, of shared heritage and growing independence. The meticulous visual design and writing make it an excellent choice for shared reading.
