An excellent up close and personal look at an extraordinary woman's life. Rose, who will later be known as Josephine, is a woman of her times. She soon learns how to survive and support her children and becomes known for her charm and generousity. A tempestuous look at the relationship between Josephine and Napoleon, both of whom are so representative of this time in history among the politically powerful.
