The best yet in this excellent series! Lambdin amps up the interest by making it personal - the point of view alternates between Lewrie and his French nemesis and the outcome of their encounters is not by any means certain. In addition, Lewrie's sex life becomes hugely complicated, although in a somewhat comical way. Thrilling, amusing and full of wonderful language from Dewey Lambdin.

Delivers the goods !! ..."in the tradition of",etc. ...But may be a bit over-explicit in navigational details and sailing procedures, for those new to the genre. Try to read it for flavor, and pick it up as you go. ...Richly rewarding. ( P.S. If you get addicted (like me) ,.. its best to start at the beginning of the series. Enjoy !)
