Great book!! I read it thinking: "Oh, okay, it's a dog that rescues wounded soldiers" but oh, it was so much more than that! I LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!
For kids ages 8 & up. It should have 5 stars because this book really deserved it! I hope you will love it too!!! <3 <3 <3 Its an awesome story about an awesome dog. At the end I cried-or well closed to the end... I'm so relieved though...

Dog sent find wounded soliders. Told from the standpoint of the dog, yet really unique in narration. Everything is spoken and done normally but since Darling is a dog, only understands part. Doesn't glamourize war, which I really appreciated. Instead showed balanced honest look without being too graphic.
