Add a CommentChristmasy without being Christmasy. Great to read on a cold day with hot chocolate.
The idea is really cute, but the story is poorly executed. Yes, I understand that the story has a fantastical element that requires a suspension of disbelief. I'm fine with that. But enough of this story makes no sense that I struggled to slog through it.
A lovely story that is thoughtfully written. You'll fall in love with the characters. Sweet, quick, easy read.
Another fun, interesting read from Sarah Jio, set in one of my favourite cities - Seattle. What a gift Jane has, the ability to see true love in others. It's a gift yet not a gift. How can she use it? Can she help others? I love all the interactions of the people who live, work, and shop in the Pike Place Market area. Quirky and lovable characters all. The mystery that Colette shares with Jane is intriguing. And there is one thing I am not clear on, but I won't say what as I don't want to give too much away to you, reader. Sarah Jio writes compelling stories, quite different from each other yet with an underlying theme of love in all of them. So far, I've loved them all.
Jane has a gift to see true love. An enchanting story and a light read.
This story of a girl with a gift of sensing true love in all its forms is so sweet that you have to love it. It' a perfect read for Valentine's Day!
