Jad Bell and his team have a new mission to protect a dignitary on a transatlantic flight. 38,000 feet up they do just that, bringing the plane safely to ground after defending against an attack. But they've been duped. The attempt on the plane was a decoy, and the real target has already been hit, leaving Jad and his crew and scrambling on a search-and-rescue mission that sends them sprinting around the world. Greg Rucka's new novel is a propulsive, smart and cinematic thriller where the action starts on the first page and doesn't let up till the last.

Not too many surprises in this typical thriller Homeland Security story. Well written and clearly we will see more stories with the Architect as the key bad man. I found some of the characters confusing in that at times it was not clear who were the good guys. How a general officer in the US could betray the trust of his office, I found a tad far-fetched.
