I just finished the entire US version of Being Human. I am a fan of the British version and although the first season does seem to follow the plot of the British one, however, it does end up going in its own direction and becomes its own show. That was when it was really fun to watch. The actors are superb, and I enjoyed following the lives the adventures of the characters in this one. If you love paranormal television shows this one is worth checking out.

This is the US version of a UK show. If you like the UK show don't watch this one.

Based on the British (BBC) version of Being Human this series' first season has the same storyline however it takes place in Boston MA with more episodes and better special effects. Because of the additional episodes there are more subplots as well as more supporting cast members. Aidan the vampire, Josh the werewolf and Sally the ghost live together in an old inner city house. Each of the characters are dealing with various personal issues while also trying to retain some sense of their former humanity.
