Still a great series. Quality over quantity.
Season 7 is as charming as the others. Look for the cameo by someone with an accent too thick to understand.
So what's not to like about this British TV series? It's a gem. I've watched all the videos in the library's collection and seen most of the on PBS as well. Can't get enough of the cast; of the predicaments they find themselves in; and that luscious scenery against which the show unwinds. I only wish they were filming of Doc and that there more than a paltry eight episodes per season.
Comes very highly recommended.
8th series to air autumn 2017, ninth and final series in 2018. Details at https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doc_Martin
Looking forward to the next installments. I loved this series.
for those who may care, there will be 2 more seasons. 9 will end it.
We were so looking forward to season 7. What a disappointment, it was not the light hearted fun series anymore. The actors were all the same quirky people, but the situations seemed very amateurish and unbelievable. Love Martin Clunes in anything usually, but not this series 7.
Series Seven is the best thus far. I read that Series Eight will be the last.
I love this wonderfully corny and typical English series. The setting is outstanding (Port Isaac in Cornwall), and Martin Clunes and Caroline Catz are wonderful together.
Very well done with a great performance by Martin Clunes and the glorious views of Cornwall. It is surprising in this time that such a whimsical series can succeed and be very popular. Let's hope they can come up with series 8.
