I enjoyed this final gasp of the series more than the previous season. However, as with every one since the first, the twisting time and space mind bending portions of the storylines irritated me. I think I would have kept watching the show just because it's not reality tv and it's about superheroes. There was always something I really liked about Sylar, too. I think this series peaked with season one. I liked the new antagonist carny guy but most of this season felt familiar and kind of stale. Still, I am glad I watched it, and enjoyed it for the most part. If you've seen and liked the rest, may as well finish it up.
I am starting to lose interest about halfway into this season. Maybe i should finish watching the whole thing before judging, but the entire series appears more and more to be an exercise in character building, throwing in events etc to shock the audience and push personalities in new directions. Well done at first, but it gets old after a while. And the shifting sympathies are just too much work.
This just falls along with just about what I just expected.
Did you catch that? Just right??
I worked for a touring carnival for a while and i have to admit it really was not at all like it is depicted, but I will say, it was an interesting twist
this is the end of the series.
