Latest Installment of the Logan MacRae series. An enticing case that proceeds on multiple tracks with the usual tough slog for Logan. Sarcastic but not as funny or Gothic as the earlier novels but the series is still enjoyable. Good narrative and characterization. Worth reading if you are interested in the genre.

McRae is a Professional Standards officer! Still brilliant and sarcastic as ever but thankfully less whingy. Steel is up to her old tricks but in a more limited role in this 11th in the Logan McRae series.

Start at the beginning of the series with #1. You won't regret it.
