Tragic on every level and does not hold back so definitely not suited for youngsters. This would have benefitted from having 'extras', explaining the conflict in greater depth, especially for those who have only heard about it in newspapers and on TV. Other than the one photograph, it would also be good to know where Sama and her family are now and what they are doing. I couldn't get past the fact, throughout the entire documentary, that Sama's parents brought her into this conflict and then, unbelievably, did not get her to safety with their own parents, when they were able to do so. Easy to judge from here, I know.

Absolutely heartbreaking to watch, this emotionally draining piece of history. I went from crying to sadness to hope, all within minutes. I cannot begin to imagine what living through those years were like. Unfortunately, this is reality for too many people still.

Heartbreaking testimony to what humans are capable of doing to one another. History repeats itself; only the names and places change.

It is too difficult to explain what life in Aleppo looks like. Everyone should watch this film to get a glimpse of what Syrian refugees are escaping. I cannot imagine what kind of life it would be living in the midst of a civil war.
